EDUCATION
SUNDAY MORNING adult BIBLE CLASSGet ready for some great courses! Beginning September 7th during our Sunday Morning Bible Class time, Shawn Kramer will be teaching a great class entitled, “10 Things Every Lutheran Should Know”. Based upon extensive research and conversation with Lutheran pastors and with our own pastor and staff, Shawn’s course will take participants through 10 key truths that have stood the test of time and give Lutherans a rock solid base for their lives. Then on October 1st don’t miss the beginning of a new course titled, “Equip!” - Challenging Christians to Know What they Believe and Why!” This great study, once again taught by Shawn Kramer, is based upon Focus on the Family’s “Truth Project” (www.thetruthproject.org/about/) taking participants through many of the deep questions that often challenge the Christian faith. The end result is to build a Christian worldview into the fabric of a believer’s life, showing that Christianity is not only reasonable and rational, but that it truly is the answer to life’s needs. Both of these great classes will take place on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. SUNDAY MORNING - Sunday School CLASSSunday School is offered for children age 4 through grade 12. Many changes have been made to the program, including new materials, new servant events, new guides and instructors, and more. Teaching our courses this year are: Since parents play a vital role in the development of their children during the confirmation years, we want to invite parents to take an active role in their son or daughter’s confirmation instruction. That makes our “Parents and Students Night an important kick-off event to be present for. For those who are unable to be present on September 3rd, please telephone to take part in our “make-up” meeting at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 7th following our 11:00 worship service. We’re looking forward to the time we will spend with your child and anticipate seeing your son or daughter grow in their understanding of God’s love for them in Jesus Christ and what it means to live as God’s child today!
