Weekly Information for Members and Friends of Our Savior Lutheran Church

Love is the key that can open another's heart. Our goal is to love one another as Christ has loved us. Therefore, be assured that you're loving welcomed to God's house.


Our Sunday Worship Schedule - 8:30 am "Traditional", 9:45 am and 11:00 am "Contemporary"

 

Children's Sunday School classes start at 9:45 a.m. in the Great Room!

 

Adult Bible Classes - 10:00 am: Shawn Kramer is teaching "10 Things Every Lutheran Should Know". Starting October 1st plan to take part in the study, "Equip! Challenging Christians to Know What They Believe and Why."

 

Tapes or CD's of Sunday Morning Service - are available at a cost of $2.00 each. Please stop by the sound booth at the end of service to request a copy.

 

SCRIPT - will be available between services this morning at the information booth area. All proceeds go toward Little Hands, Loving Hearts Child Development Center. Thanks for your participation and prayers!

 

Children are welcome in our worship services! - God loves to have children in His house of prayer. If you feel you need to take your child out of worship, we do have a nursery room with toys. The nursery is staffed during the 11:00 service. Our ushers are available to assist you.


Faith Questions?? "Let's Talk! - You are invited to a "Let's Talk" night with Pastor Krueger tomorrow night, September 29th here at the church at 7:00 pm. Bring your faith questions, whether you are a guest or a member, and come and kick back as we open the Bible and talk together. Come and be our guest!!

 

Mark Your Calendars! - Taco Fiesta Sunday is coming October 26th. We are in need of donations for the Silent Auction to raise funds for our Adult Mission Trip to Anapra, Mexico. Please see Joyce Goodvin the the Fellowship Hall following services today for more information about the Taco Fiesta donations and your opportunity to experience a life changing mission trip, February 28th - March 7th, 2009.

 

Ask Shana Erie for registration forms and information packets or find the forms at www.ndyouthonfire.org for the 13th Annual ND District LCMS Youth Gathering, October 23-25, Gladstone Inn/Jamestown Civic Center, Jamestown, for grades 6 and up. - "Godspace! MySpace!" is the theme for this event with Bible studies about "My Life, My Attitude, My Body, and My Love" led by Rev. William Yonkers, East Dundee, IL. Music by Tangled Blue, Minneapolis, MN, YMCA night, worship, devotions, interest sessions, a mission project and more will offer students many opportunities to grow in their faith and strengthen friendships!

 

Scholarship Opportunity - We are extending the opportunity to help sponsor youth desiring to participate in the Youth Gathering and upcoming events, but may be in need of additional funding. If you are interested in supporting this project, bright red scholarship envelopes are available in the Fellowship Hall or see Shana Erie for more information.

 

A Ladies' Retreat will be held at Shepherd's Hill at the Crossroads on October 17-18 - It begins with a supper Friday evening at 6 pm and ends by 3 pm on Saturday. There will be a horse-drawn wagon ride around the site and devotions by the fire on Friday evening. Saturday morning past ND District LWML President, Debbie Larson, will lead us in Bible Study - "Christian Soup For The Whole." The afternoon will be devoted to a craft project. Cost is $65.00.
